By offering a challenging, college-preparatory education grounded on the principles of the Bible, Southfield Christian High School seeks to prepare young people to live full and productive lives. Our goal is not only to provide a strong academic foundation for college, but also to offer a firm Christian perspective for life. By joining with parents, Southfield Christian High School desires to form a partnership with the home in providing young men and women with a strong biblical foundation and a network of Christian relationships. SCS is committed to helping students thrive academically, athletically, socially and spiritually.
More than 75 different courses are offered. Additionally, we offer multiple on-site Dual Enrollment classes and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Each student is provided with their own iPad for learning.
100% of SCS graduates are accepted to a college of their choice. Of the class of 2021, which had 38 students, 80% received college merit scholarships totaling over $4.9 million. While the national average on the ACT was 21, SCS students averaged 24, with the top 10% averaging 31. SCS students perform well on standardized tests and numerous students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
