Family Service Hours
Family Service Hours Program
The goal of the Family Service Hours program is to increase parental involvement in the school, strengthen the educational quality, promote community and provide outstanding programs for the students. We are hopeful that as you bless SCS with your service, you will experience blessing in return from the SCS community. We require each SCS family to contribute 20 hours of time each school year. For the 2023/24 school year, please complete hours between June 11, 2023 and June 8, 2024. Family members who may fulfill the family service hours include parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles; it does not include children and non-family members. For every hour you have not worked, the family’s account will be billed $10 per hour on June 10, 2024. In order for us to track the volunteer hours, please be sure to log your hours in the binders located on the counter in the Administration Office. Please note that a maximum of 10 hours may be credited for one field trip/event if the time served was longer. (i.e. 5th grade Ohio Trip.) Throughout the year parents will receive emails from faculty and staff asking for miscellaneous help. Chaperoning a field trip also counts towards service hours.

Volunteers are needed to help with admissions, concessions, and game workers.

Eagle Bucks sellers are needed before school from 7:45 - 8:00am and after school from 2:30 - 3:30pm.

Encore is in need of floor sales people, cashiers, back room sorters, and custodians.
