Senior Project
Southfield Christian School gives seniors the option of spending the two weeks of the senior year working on Senior Project. The “Senior Project” is a capstone experience that involves two 20-hour weeks of noncompensated internship activity, totaling 40 hours. Senior Project occurs in May and ends before graduation. At the conclusion of the internship period seniors are required to submit interview answers, a reflection paper and a log of hours worked/duties performed. This is a graded endeavor that appears on students' official transcripts. Keeping in the spirit of a capstone experience, this is a heavily student-led project. All questions regarding Sr. Project should be initiated by the student, rather than the parent please. Additionally, all communication about expectations will be given to the students as well.
